Forbes contributor, Garrett Gunderson, interviewed business tycoon and social media influencer Grant Cardone about his struggles with finding a path while unemployed. Cardone explains”, I started studying sales. Reading, learning and next thing you know, I’m good at sales. What’s crazy is the thing I hated became the gateway to the rest of my life.”

Leaders have not only recognized the new pool of outstanding talent, but also their accessibility. For many industries, including technology, offices may become a thing of the past while remote work propels forward. Recruiters have begun reaching out to talented individuals worldwide for roles they can do virtually. This permanent shift in recruiting techniques opens employers up to higher quality talent.

CNN reports, More than two-thirds (68%) of large company CEOs plan to downsize their office space, according to a survey released by KPMG.” The CNN business reporter, Matt Egan goes on to explain, “The pandemic is proving employees don't need to work in cubicles to be successful.”
